Sarbinowo in brief

Sarbinowo lies 7 km from Mielno. It has enjoyed a prominent location on the tourist map of the PolishCoast for years. First records to mention the place date back to 1309. Many years ago the distance of the village to the shore was 1.5 km. At the beginning of the previous century the Baltic began to encroach on the countryside. To hold back the element, a stone resistor wall was built. The church dating from 1856 with a high octagonal tower and a fishing cottage with a reed roof from 1804 are tourist attractions of Sarbinowo. Today Sarbinowo had 500 inhabitants.
